Full Description

Job Summary: The Warehouse Associate ensures equipment is kept in pristine condition and is safely and efficiently rental-ready. This team member will maintain all inventory to guarantee customer satisfaction with top-of-the-line equipment. The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices daily: 1) Demonstrate alignment with the company's mission and core business values; 2) Collaborate with key internal/external resources; 3) Participate in ongoing self-development. Essential Functions: • Works safely always and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards • Check fluid levels and test the operation of equipment after loading • Check rental contracts to be sure the right equipment goes out • Oversee all customers are instructed in the proper and safe use of the equipment and demonstrate operation when necessary • Keep the workstation clean and stocked with service tags and fuel • Communicate with management and discuss safety violations • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, rules, and regulations in written or verbal form • Comply with government safety requirements and other regulations and security in the store • Attend department, store, and safety meetings • Requires regular and punctual employee attendance • Performs other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Must possess customer relations skills • Must maintain a professional personal appearance • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Ability to operate a conventional forklift • Ability to be self-starting and self-motivated • Good verbal and written communication skills • Ability to read, write, and understand information • Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences Education and Experience: • High school diploma or equivalent required • Forklift experience strongly preferred Supervisory Responsibilities: None Travel: Up to 10% travel may be required
