Full Description

We’re looking for a Director of Care Network Operations, someone who’s ready to grow with our company. In this position you will be responsible for development, implementation, growth, and operations of the Texas Children's Care Network (TCCN). This includes network development, management services, payor relations, finance, clinical informatics, management, and administrative services in support of the mission. Provide leadership in executing program objectives and projects, manage personnel and budgets, facilitate expansion and growth, and provide leadership support for committees. Work closely with the Executive leadership team in strategic planning and program development to ensure growth and sustainability. The Texas Children’s Care Network (TCCN) is a physician-led, clinically integrated network designed to coordinate patient care across the healthcare continuum. It brings together a diverse group of healthcare providers—including hospitals, physicians, advanced practice providers, and specialists—into a formal collaboration aimed at improving outcomes for women and children while maintaining the independence of each practice . TCCN is part of the broader Texas Children’s system, which is nationally recognized for its excellence in pediatric and women’s health. The network is guided by a vision to deliver seamless, patient-centered healthcare through integrated clinical care, innovative research, and community engagement. TCCN plays a critical role in advancing the mission of Texas Children’s by: Enhancing Care Coordination: By streamlining communication and referrals across providers, TCCN reduces fragmentation and improves the patient journey—especially for those with complex or chronic conditions Improving Quality and Efficiency: The network empowers providers with tools and processes to meet high-quality standards while reducing unnecessary costs Supporting Independent Practices: TCCN allows providers to remain autonomous while benefiting from the infrastructure, resources, and reputation of Texas Children’s Expanding Regional Access: With over 70 providers and multiple locations, including a major expansion in Austin, TCCN is extending high-quality pediatric and women’s care across Central Texas Think you’ve got what it takes? Job Duties & Responsibilities Manage ongoing development and expansion of TCCN membership by identifying target practices and providers for affiliation, conducting pitch meetings to demonstrate value proposition of the network, and leading the ultimate onboarding of physician practices to achieve four areas of integration—clinical, technical, financial, and operational. Work directly with Texas Children's executive team to ensure successful fulfillment of TCCN strategic mission, goals, plans, and priorities within the context of the overall Texas Children’s enterprise. Provide administrative leadership to the TCCN. Manage business operations including finance, analytics, IT, access, communications, provider relations and marketing. Oversee budgets and monitor expenses. Lead management of executive discussions with network members in various forums, including the Board of Directors, TCCN Committees, etc. Foster engagement of TCCN members by encouraging committee and board participation and lead discussions through agenda setting and providing ongoing support. In partnership with department leaders, engage in discussions with health plans and employers regarding network contracting opportunities related to clinical quality, care management, value-based care, and population health. Skills & Requirements Bachelor's Degree Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field required Master's Degree Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred 5 years' experience in healthcare operations, including four years of management/leadership experience required Experience in strategic planning and development and implementation of process improvement strategies across multiple areas preferred
