Job Summary TEVET’s recruitment and onboarding initiatives are part of TEVET’s growth strategy, and the Manager of Recruitment & Onboarding has responsibility for maintaining the full employment lifecycle and creating a competitive advantage for TEVET to build and maintain a high-performing workforce. This position oversees the full lifecycle—from attracting and hiring top talent, managing third party recruitment sources for hard to fill positions, and designing and implementing onboarding experiences that set new hires up for success and improve employee retention. The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking to ensure all programs align with organizational goals, reinforce company culture, and support employee engagement and retention. Our mission is to hire best athlete 100 percent of the time. Key Areas of Responsibility: 1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for all departments and levels within TEVET. TEVET strives to hire only the top echelon and best athlete for all positions. Oversee the full recruitment process, including engaging managers during the job requisition process, creating job postings and candidate profiles using our candidate assessment tool, managing third party recruiters (if applicable), sourcing candidates using social media, screening and interviewing candidates, managing selection process with hiring manager, and making employment offers. Maintain recruitment & onboarding process documents and all forms associated with TEVET’s hiring and onboarding processes. Partner with department leaders to forecast hiring needs and create proactive talent pipelines. Maintain strong relationships with external recruiting agencies and partners, colleges/universities, and professional networks such as for veteran hiring. 2. Pre-boarding, Onboarding & Orientation Manage the pre-boarding process after offer acceptance to include setup in TEVET’s HRIS, background and pre-employment drug screenings, and professional reference checks. Design and manage an engaging onboarding process that accelerates new hire integration and productivity. Conduct HR onboarding sessions to ensure new employees have completed the pre-boarding and process work authorizations using the E-Verify platform. Provide training on the HRIS system to report time, request time off, access employee handbook, request leave, update personal and contact information and access the Learning Management System to complete required compliance training annually. Schedule general onboarding sessions for new hire’s first week at TEVET, including the collaboration with hiring manager to ensure the job training is complete. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all logistical, cultural, and training components of onboarding are executed efficiently. Gather feedback from new hire and manager surveys to continuously improve the onboarding experience. 3. Engagement Partner with HR leadership to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention strategies from the beginning of the employee life cycle. Conduct HR surveys to analyze feedback about the recruitment and onboarding processes. Provide recommendations for HR leadership. 4. Compliance & Reporting Ensure compliance with all employment laws and internal policies related to hiring, onboarding, and training. Track and analyze key HR metrics to report on recruitment and development outcomes. Maintain accurate records for Affirmative Action Plan data collection and reporting requirements. Provide support during audits related to onboarding training records. Supervisor Responsibilities N/A Work Environment Monday through Friday office hours, either on-site at TEVET's headquarters, or remotely from a home office. May need to work and be available outside of primary hours to meet business needs. Physical Demands The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. Quality & Compliance Expected to support and uphold the organization’s Quality Management System (QMS). Understanding QMS responsibilities to support compliance and quality standards. Making customer-focused, quality-driven decisions. Following document control practices and using current, approved documents. Qualifications: Required: Bachelors’ degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field required. HR certification (PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP) preferred. Minimum of at least 3 years of solid recruitment and onboarding development experience. Proven experience in recruitment, and onboarding program design and implementation. Strong understanding of HR laws, compliance standards, and best practices in talent management preferred. Demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives and driving measurable results.
