About Us Teufel Landscape is a long‑established, family‑owned company specializing in commercial landscape construction. We build high‑quality projects including irrigation systems, hardscapes, green roofs/walls, and complex urban installations. Role Overview The Project Manager oversees multiple landscape construction projects from start to finish. This role ensures projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to our quality standards while serving as the main point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. Key Responsibilities • Plan and coordinate all phases of landscape construction projects. • Develop budgets, schedules, labor plans, and equipment needs. • Order and coordinate delivery of materials, including long‑lead items. • Lead onsite project meetings and maintain strong client communication. • Oversee job cost tracking, change management, and project documentation. • Implement quality control measures and ensure safety compliance. • Support and mentor field staff and collaborate with internal departments. • Apply plant knowledge, construction methodology, and industry terminology to ensure accuracy in project planning and execution. • Interpret and apply construction terms, conditions, and standards in daily project management. Qualifications Required • Project management experience in commercial landscape construction. • Understanding of plant materials, soil needs, irrigation components, and landscape installation practices. • Working knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and general construction terms and conditions. • Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and construction documents. • Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills. • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word. • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines. Preferred • Experience with cranes, hoisting, and complex site logistics. • Familiarity with construction management software (e.g., Procore). • Leadership or supervision experience in a construction environment.
