Requires a BA/BS degree, 3-5 years of strategic or project management experience supporting senior leadership, advanced presentation and data analysis skills, and fluency in Mandarin.
Position Summary Reporting to the President of TRPC, the Project Manager/Executive Assistant will be required to perform a vast array of executive support functions on behalf of the President and Company. This position will be responsible for project management and follow-up, preparing business reports and correspondence, and serving as the primary liaison between the President of TRPC and employees, vendors, and other leaders. This unique role is designed for an individual who thrives on complex problem-solving, data-driven insights, and proactive strategic support, rather than traditional administrative tasks. The successful candidate will act as a force multiplier, enabling the executive to focus on core leadership responsibilities by providing rigorous research, analysis, project management, and strategic foresight. Must be a fluent mandarin speaker and communicator. Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the position: • Strategic Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on industry trends, competitive landscapes, market opportunities, and emerging technologies. Synthesize complex information into concise, actionable insights and recommendations for the executive. • Project & Initiative Management: Independently drive and manage strategic projects and initiatives from inception to completion. This includes defining project scope, developing timelines, coordinating with cross-functional teams, tracking progress, and ensuring deliverables meet high standards. • Preparation for Key Engagements: Prepare the executive for critical meetings, presentations, and external engagements. This involves developing comprehensive briefing materials, presentation decks, talking points, and data summaries, often requiring complex data compilation and visualization. • Information Synthesis & Reporting: Consolidate disparate information and data points into clear, executive-level summaries, reports, and dashboards. Identify key trends, risks, and opportunities for executive attention. • Decision Support: Work closely with the executive to analyze complex problems, evaluate potential solutions, and provide data-backed recommendations to inform strategic decision-making. • Communication Enhancement: Assist in drafting high-stake internal and external communications, ensuring clarity, conciseness, and alignment with strategic objectives. This may include internal memos, external correspondence, or public statements. • Stakeholder Coordination (Strategic): Facilitate communication and coordination with internal and external stakeholders on strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment and progress toward shared goals. This is not about scheduling but about ensuring strategic information flow. • Proactive Foresight: Anticipate potential challenges, opportunities, and information needs of the executive, taking initiative to gather information or prepare resources in advance. • Confidentiality & Discretion: Handle highly sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism. Skills / Knowledge / Experience / Education needed to perform the job successfully: · BA or BS in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Data Science, or a related field. Project Management preferred, master’s degree a plus · 3-5 years’ experience in a strategic role, consulting, project management, or a similar capacity supporting senor leadership. · Proven ability to conduct rigorous research, analyze complex data sets, and derive actionable insights. · Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely for an executive audience. · Advanced proficiency in presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint, Google Slides) and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets; familiarity with BI tools like Tableau/Power BI a plus). · Strong project management skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. · High degree of intellectual curiosity, proactive problem-solving, and a self-starter mentality. · Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and exercise sound judgment. · Demonstrated ability to maintain extreme confidentiality and exercise impeccable discretion. · Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
