The Director of Business Operations is a strategic and results-driven leader responsible for optimizing day-to-day business functions, driving operational excellence, and aligning operational capabilities with the company's strategic objectives. This role oversees cross-functional processes, improves systems and workflows, manages budgets and resource allocation, and ensures the efficient delivery of products and services across the organization. Key Responsibilities * Develop and implement operational strategies that support company objectives and promote growth. * Oversee daily business operations across departments including facilities, operations, logistics, and customer service. * Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency. * Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to drive continuous improvement. * Collaborate with department heads to align goals, set targets, and ensure accountability. * Lead budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning processes in partnership with Finance. * Manage vendor relationships and oversee contract negotiations and procurement processes for supplies, equipment, and facilities. * Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and industry best practices. * Support talent development and workforce planning in collaboration with HR. * Implement and oversee business systems and technologies to enhance productivity. * Serve as a key liaison between leadership and operational teams to ensure transparency and effective communication. Qualifications Education & Experience: * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field. * 8+ years of progressive experience in business operations, including 3+ years in a leadership role. * Proven track record of managing complex operations and cross-functional teams. Skills & Competencies: * Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. * Excellent leadership and people management abilities. * Exceptional organizational, communication, and project management skills. * Proficient in business intelligence tools, ERP systems, and data analysis. * Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and optimizing resource allocation. * Change management experience and a continuous improvement mindset (Lean/Six Sigma a plus). Working Conditions * Standard business hours, with occasional evening or weekend work as needed. * Hybrid or remote work options may be available depending on location and business needs.
