About the Role The Operations Account Manager plays a dual role focused on both operational excellence and revenue generation. This individual oversees day-to-day field operations while serving as the primary client contact to drive retention and growth. The ideal candidate brings a blend of process-driven operations management and relationship-based account oversight, ensuring both internal efficiency and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Oversee field and job operations to ensure service delivery, efficiency, and adherence to company standards Monitor route compliance, job quality, and timely completion of services Enforce safety standards and report all incidents per company policy Manage scheduling and labor utilization to optimize field productivity Approve daily time entries and ensure compliance with labor regulations Track and maintain inventory, equipment usage, and procurement Identify inefficiencies and drive process improvement initiatives Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company safety protocols Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, maintaining strong long-term relationships Conduct regular client check-ins and property walkthroughs Identify client needs and propose additional services that align with operational capabilities Drive contract renewals and upsell opportunities Address and resolve customer concerns with urgency and professionalism Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and retention targets Collaborate with operations and sales teams to ensure service alignment and client satisfaction Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field preferred 3-5 years of commercial landscaping or field operations experience required Demonstrated ability to manage field teams, schedules, and client relationships Proven success in driving account growth and retention Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and time management abilities Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with operations software is a plus Work Environment 80% field-based, overseeing crews and customer sites 20% office-based, focused on planning, reporting, and client communications Safety Requirements Adhere to all company, state, and federal safety policies and procedures Conduct regular safety training and audits with field crews Maintain current knowledge of safety regulations and ensure team compliance Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. as needed Manual dexterity for using tools, devices, and office equipment Comfortable navigating both office and outdoor field environments We’ve got you covered.
