The Operations Technician supports field operations through inspection, service, repair, installation, removal, and transport of temporary containment systems. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, varied schedules, and short-duration site visits. The position is part-time with a guaranteed minimum of 20 hours per week and requires flexibility to respond to restoration-driven schedules. This position should scale to full time in the coming months. Key Responsibilities Field Operations & Service • Inspect existing temporary containment systems for integrity, cleanliness, and compliance • Perform minor repairs, adjustments, and modifications to modular containment components • Install and remove temporary containment systems using pre-engineered modular materials • Respond to short-duration service calls and emergency restoration needs • Support demobilization, cleaning, staging, and transport of equipment Logistics & Equipment Handling • Safely load, unload, transport, and stage containment materials and equipment • Operate a long-bed pickup truck towing a 20-foot trailer in urban environments, including tight streets and active job sites • Maintain tools, materials, and vehicles in clean, organized, and ready-to-use condition Site Coordination & Professional Conduct • Coordinate with restoration contractors, facility staff, and site contacts • Maintain a professional presence on sensitive job sites, including healthcare and occupied facilities • Follow company procedures, safety practices, and site-specific requirements Required Qualifications • Ability to drive a long-bed pickup truck with a 20-foot trailer, including backing and maneuvering in tight or congested areas • Ability to lift, carry, and position materials of reasonable weight repeatedly throughout the workday • High attention to detail and strong situational awareness • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision • Flexibility to work variable hours, including occasional evenings or weekends • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Preferred Qualifications • Experience in restoration, remediation, facilities services, or field-based service work • Familiarity with working in occupied buildings or healthcare environments • Basic hand tool experience • Strong communication skills and customer-service mindset Physical Requirements • Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver materials and equipment as required for temporary containment systems • Ability to stand, bend, climb, and work on your feet for extended periods • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions Why This Role Works Well • Guaranteed baseline hours with flexible scheduling • Short-duration jobs—rarely repetitive, rarely monotonous • Overtime paid for after-hours and weekend work regardless of weekly totals • Opportunity to grow hours and responsibility as business demand increases Company DescriptionTemporary Wall Systems Seattle provides temporary containment and environmental control solutions for restoration, healthcare, and commercial facilities.
