About us Temco Logistics has been an experienced provider of final-mile delivery services to leading retailers since 1968. Completing more than 6,000 residential, business, job site and commercial deliveries per day, we have a proven track record of success and dependability. Deliveries are completed 7 days a week directly from our customer sites or any of our strategically - located logistic terminals with over 500,000 square feet of space. Must Have Skills: • Ability to driver 26Ft truck/DOT Medical Card • Experience in last mile delivery. • Experience with on road DOT safety/training. • Experience with audits and compliance • Must meet company standards for MVR Screening • Bilingual English and Spanish verbal and written communication proficiency. Job Responsibilities: Qualifications and Skills: • Minimum 2 - 3 years’ experience in Operations and/or Logistics Management/Transportation • Ability to Drive 26-foot box tucks (Ops Manager in this role are hands on) Ability to go into the field and perform Space and Visibility rides. • · Preferred deep understanding and knowledge of the home appliance industry, including installation. • · Excellent communication and time management skills desired. • · Ability to follow written, verbal, and telephonic instructions. • · Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. • · Must be flexible, team player, problem solver, good attitude. • Routing: • · Assist with opening driving routes daily. • · Monitoring drivers and their routes. • · Ability to use routing software. • · Ability to route daily stops per day. • · Schedule and confirm delivery teams daily. • · Proficient with mapping locations and giving directions. • · Communicate with drivers and contact customers when required. • · Implement tasks, create reports, assist with daily operational needs, and complete assignments at General Manager’s direction.
