Job description: Temco Logistics has been a trusted provider of final-mile delivery services for leading retailers since 1968. We are proud to partner with The Home Depot to offer a Direct-from-Store delivery experience. Customers can now order online and receive next-day delivery of essential building materials and home improvement products. Products eligible for next-day delivery include: Concrete, Doors & Windows, Drywall, Fencing, Grills, In-Stock Cabinets, Laminate Flooring, Lumber, Pavers & Step Stones, Plywood, Pressure-Treated Wood & Decking, Riding Mowers, Roofing, and Tile. Area of Operations: New Jersey Must Have: 1. Ability to driver 26Ft truck. 2. Experience in last mile delivery. 3. Experience with on road DOT safety/training. 4. Experience with audits and compliance Job Responsibilities: Qualifications and Skills: · Minimum 2 - 3 years’ experience in Operations and/or Logistics Management/Transportation Ability to Drive 26-foot box tucks (Ops Manager in this role are hands on) Ability to go into the field and perform Space and Visibility rides. · Preferred deep understanding and knowledge of the home appliance industry, including installation. · Excellent communication and time management skills desired. · Ability to follow written, verbal, and telephonic instructions. · Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. · Must be flexible, team player, problem solver, good attitude. Routing: · Assist with opening driving routes daily. · Monitoring drivers and their routes. · Ability to use routing software. · Ability to route daily stops per day. · Schedule and confirm delivery teams daily. · Proficient with mapping locations and giving directions. · Communicate with drivers and contact customers when required. · Implement tasks, create reports, assist with daily operational needs, and complete assignments at General Manager’s direction.
