As a global-leading health and well-being provider – encompassing physical, mental and financial health – TELUS Health is improving health outcomes for consumers, patients, healthcare professionals, employers and employees.The TELUS Health Communication & Change Management Solutions team is responsible for advising clients on all aspects of communication and change management related to health, pension, and benefits programs (pension and savings plans, benefits and wellness programs, compensation, absence and disability management, and employee assistance programs).We are looking for an experienced communications consultant who can own client engagements and help build our growing practice. You’ll be primarily responsible for pension and benefits communication, including developing and executing our growth plans. With the support of your colleagues, you will be expected to secure new projects, create client communication strategies, develop content, and fulfill other agreed upon client commitments.You will be based out of the USA but will be supporting some of the globe's leading companies and working with senior decision makers in human resources to execute on the communication strategies you help develop. It’s also incredibly rewarding.This is a remote position with the option for in-person attendance in a TELUS Health office, if available in your area.Responsibilities include :Work with our internal stakeholders to proactively identify client communication opportunities. You must feel comfortable taking initiative and demonstrating a growth mindsetImplement communication strategies for multiple target audiences using various mediaResearch and develop communication materials for various audiences, including, but not limited to, reports, newsletters, booklets, infographics, posters, videos, presentations, and micrositesProvide consulting advice and subject-matter expertise to clients related to the communication of pension, benefits, health, and total rewards programsAttend and facilitate client meetings / callsEvaluate / measure effectiveness of communication strategies and deliverablesDevelop and enhance processes for serving communication solutions to clientsServe as primary resource for securing and coordinating supporting services, such as design and translationDevelop accurate budgets and realistic project timelines to ensure successful completion of projects and adequate financial managementPerforms other tasks and special projects, as requiredRequirements :Comfort in a remote work environmentUniversity degree in communication, journalism, public relations or similarGraduate studies in writing / communication an assetMinimum 5+ years’ experience working in a communication-related fieldExperience with communication of pension, benefits, health, and total rewards programsExperience with health communications as assetExperience in a consulting firm and / or agency an assetStrong ability to translate complex concepts into simple, engaging communication contentSuperior project management, research and presentation skillsExceptional customer focus and strong business acumenExcellent problem solving and analytical skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks while ensuring attention to detailExcellent organizational skills, flexibility, ability to work both independently and in a team settingSuperior Microsoft Office skills, in particular Word and PowerPoint presentation design skillsWhat’s in it for you :Work with a dynamic, collaborative global teamEnjoy work-life balance with a remote or flexible optionContribute to high impact, large scale projectsA unique opportunity to drive our team’s success and growth within our US-based client listA Bit About UsWe’re a people-focused, customer-first, purpose-driven team who works together every day to innovate and do good.
