Full Description

About Tellos At Tellos, we believe in empowering families through behavior‑analytic support grounded in empathy, clarity, and steadfast partnership. Our team meets families where they are, especially during moments of uncertainty, transition, or overwhelm, with compassion, expertise, and unwavering support. We live our values every day and aim to make a meaningful difference, one family at a time. Position Summary We’re seeking a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) Or Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to serve as both a compassionate family intake guide and a proactive operational coordinator. This is an Operational role, responsible for walking families from the first intake call through initial assessment authorization and connection with their ongoing BCBA. We know this is often the most vulnerable time for a family. They want to talk to a practitioner to understand the road ahead. We are looking for someone who has experience with ABA to be able to answer every question a family could have but who is ready to step out of a day to day clinical role while still contributing invaluable support to our families. What you will do Family Intake & Education Connect with new families interested in ABA services Explain who we are, what we do, and how ABA may be able to support their child Listen deeply to family needs, concerns, and hopes, and validate their experience Guidance & Next Steps Coordination Walk families through the process: from inquiry to initial assessment authorization Submit and track authorization and insurance paperwork with attention to detail and urgency Maintain close, empathetic communication: answer questions, ease anxieties, and provide timely updates. Clarity is key. Internal Coordination & Handoff Collaborate with our Clinical Operations Lead for a smooth transition once the assessment is authorized Ensure handoff details are clearly documented and communicated Anticipate and resolve any blockers to avoid delays in care Operations & Organization Stay on top of due dates, insurance follow-ups, and submission statuses Use tracking tools (i.e., CRM) to keep family journeys moving forward Maintain a high level of responsiveness and follow-through across all touchpoints Living Our Values Embody Tellos’s core values in every interaction: compassion, clarity, collaboration, empowerment Make each family’s day better through presence, intention, and excellence What you will need 2 years of experience as a BCaBA or BCBA, certification in good standing Experience with insurance authorization PREFERRED Experience with ENSORA a plus! Excellent organizational and operational skills Ability to move quickly and prioritize well in a fast-paced environment Comfort with technology tools used for tracking and communication Success in this role looks like: Bringing heart and hustle: you're empathetic and efficient Thinking two steps ahead: you anticipate needs and follow through with care Communicating clearly: with families, teammates, and supervisors Thriving in a collaborative environment: you value shared ownership and smooth transitions Why You’ll Love Working Here Purpose‑driven work – You’ll guide families through an emotional and critical transition with care and clarity. Supportive team culture – We are collaborative, human-first, and focused on helping each other succeed. Room to grow – Professional development, mentorship, and future leadership opportunities available. Real impact – Your work changes lives by making services more accessible, understandable, and human. We look forward to meeting someone who shares our passion for making a difference—starting with one family at a time. We believe in hiring people, not resumes. If you’re excited by Tellos’s mission but unsure if you meet every requirement, we still encourage you to apply, we’d love to learn what you’d bring to the team.
