What You'll Do: - You will handle inbound calls and respond to customer inquiries related to healthcare services and insurance. - You will provide accurate information regarding patient benefits, claims, and coverage. - You will document and update customer records with detailed and accurate information. - You will resolve customer issues by identifying problems and offering appropriate solutions. - You will collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to facilitate smooth communication. - You will maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and company policies. - You will participate in ongoing training to stay current with healthcare industry standards and product knowledge. - You will contribute to a positive customer experience by demonstrating empathy and professionalism. What You Bring: - Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in healthcare or insurance sectors. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and software applications efficiently. - High school diploma or equivalent; additional healthcare certifications are a plus. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing time effectively. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems. - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and healthcare compliance. - Bilingual abilities, especially in Spanish or French. - Previous experience working in a remote customer service role.
