This remote position requires strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering compassionate, accurate assistance to patients and healthcare providers. What You'll Do: - You will handle inbound calls and respond to customer inquiries related to healthcare services and insurance. - You will provide accurate information regarding patient benefits, claims, and coverage. - You will document and update customer records with detailed and accurate information. - You will resolve customer issues promptly while maintaining a high level of professionalism and empathy. - You will collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to facilitate problem resolution. - You will adhere to HIPAA and other regulatory requirements to ensure confidentiality and compliance. - You will participate in ongoing training to stay current with healthcare policies and procedures. What You Bring: - You bring at least 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in healthcare or insurance. - You have excellent verbal and written communication skills. - You are proficient with computer systems and able to learn new software quickly. - You demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. - You have the ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing time effectively. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with healthcare claims processing or medical billing. - Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and healthcare compliance standards. - Bilingual skills, especially in Spanish or French. - Previous experience working in a remote customer service role.
