Your role is vital in ensuring clear communication, resolving inquiries, and enhancing the overall patient and client experience remotely. What You'll Do: - You will handle inbound and outbound calls, addressing healthcare-related questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy. - You will provide accurate information regarding healthcare services, insurance policies, and patient benefits. - You will document and update patient records and interactions in compliance with company and healthcare regulations. - You will collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to resolve issues efficiently. - You will maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines at all times. - You will assist in scheduling appointments and follow-ups as needed. - You will troubleshoot and escalate complex issues to appropriate departments. - You will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on customer interactions. What You Bring: - You bring at least 2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in healthcare or insurance sectors. - You are fluent in both English and Spanish, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. - You have strong problem-solving abilities and a patient-centered approach. - You are proficient with computer systems and able to learn new software quickly. - You have knowledge of healthcare terminology and insurance processes. - You demonstrate high attention to detail and organizational skills. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working remotely or in a virtual call center environment. - Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and healthcare privacy laws. - Additional language skills beyond English and Spanish. - Certification in customer service or healthcare administration.
