About the Company Telemynd is a national leader in delivering virtual behavioral health care, partnering with health plans, employers, and public-sector organizations to deliver specialized services to those who serve our communities – teachers, first responders, military families, and more. Historically, Telemynd has been the largest behavioral health provider to the Military communities through Tricare, the VA, and other military payers. We are rapidly growing our services in the Commercial sector within Aetna and other commercial payers, focused on the Public Sector. Our mission is to expand access to high-quality, culturally competent mental health care across the country to those who serve. About the Role We are seeking a Regional Growth Manager on our Commercial team to lead Telemynd’s outreach and referral growth across North Carolina. This role is ideal for an entry-level sales professional who is eager to gain experience in service sales, community engagement, and healthcare/insurance partnerships. The successful candidate will combine a high degree of hustle with a passion for supporting those in public service – educators, first-responders, their families and more. This is a travel-heavy role with opportunities to represent Telemynd at local events, benefits fairs, county meetings, and community gatherings across the state. The Regional Growth Manager will be the face of Telemynd’s Commercial Markets in North Carolina, identifying opportunities, promoting our services, and building meaningful relationships with local stakeholders. Success in this role means driving measurable increases in behavioral health visits (referrals) into Telemynd’s clinical services among commercially insured members who are covered under health plans such as Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, and Blue Cross Blue Shield. The ideal candidate will take ownership of North Carolina’s market growth – turning local engagement into real utilization and access for those who serve. Responsibilities • Drive Market Growth: Own and execute the North Carolina growth strategy to increase Telemynd referrals across key communities within the public sector such as teachers, firefighters, and police. • Community Engagement: Represent Telemynd at events, conferences, benefits fairs, and other opportunities to showcase our services and mission. • Opportunity Development: Proactively seek and create new opportunities to align Telemynd’s services with the needs of local organizations, school districts, state university systems, and county employers. • Understand & Educate: Deepen your knowledge of local communities and employers, helping them understand how to use their behavioral health benefits through Telemynd to improve mental health across their workforces. • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong connections with local leaders, HR teams, and community stakeholders to drive engagement and awareness. • Salesforce Tracking: Log all events, meetings, and opportunities within Salesforce to ensure accurate reporting and visibility across the national growth team. • Collaboration: Work closely with the Sr. Director of Commercial Growth, who oversees Telemynd’s national strategy with Aetna, UHC/Optum, BCBS, and other key partners to align local activities with broader organizational goals. Partner with the Commercial Account Manager and Telemynd Marketing Team to develop marketing programs that complement your commercial growth strategy across North Carolina. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education experience. • 0-3 years of experience in sales, outreach, or community engagement (healthcare or insurance knowledge a plus, but not required). • Strong communication and presentation skills, with comfort engaging diverse audiences. • Self-starter with a ‘high hustle’ mindset – motivated to find and create opportunities. • Willingness to travel across North Carolina (up to 50-70% of the time). • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms preferred. • Passion for Telemynd’s mission of supporting those who serve. • Plus if personally connected to the educator or first responder communities.
