We are seeking an experienced Datacenter Engineer to join our infrastructure team. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain robust Windows Server and Microsoft Azure environments, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud infrastructures. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical expert with deep knowledge of Microsoft technologies and datacenter operations. Key Responsibilities • Design, implement, and support Windows Server environments in on-premises, hybrid, and Azure cloud configurations. • Administer and optimize Microsoft Azure services, including Virtual Machines (VMs), Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Azure Storage, and Virtual Networks (VNets). • Manage endpoint configuration, compliance, and security using Microsoft Intune. • Maintain and secure identity and access management platforms, including Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) and Active Directory, with emphasis on hybrid identity and conditional access policies. • Lead and execute migrations from on-premises Exchange to Microsoft 365. • Deploy and support hyperconverged infrastructure solutions, with preference for Nutanix experience. • Demonstrate strong expertise in SAN technologies, storage architecture design, and performance tuning. • Perform hands-on installation, configuration, and support of multi-vendor datacenter hardware (Dell, HPE, Cisco, and similar). • Implement and support hybrid identity solutions, conditional access policies, and security best practices. • Contribute to capacity planning, disaster recovery strategies, and high-availability architectures. • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues spanning compute, storage, and network layers. Required Qualifications • Proven experience administering Windows Server and Microsoft Azure in enterprise environments. • Hands-on expertise with Azure IaaS/PaaS services, virtualization, storage, and networking. • Strong knowledge of identity management (Entra ID / Active Directory), endpoint management (Intune), and Microsoft 365 migrations. • Experience with hyperconverged infrastructure and multi-vendor hardware platforms. • Solid understanding of storage area networks (SAN), performance optimization, disaster recovery, and high-availability design. • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve infrastructure issues across multiple technology layers.
