Location: 100% Remote Duration: 6-8 Week Project Client: U.S. Air Force Program Clearance: Active DoD Security Clearance Required TEKsystems is seeking experienced Scrum Masters to support a rapidly expanding Air Force software modernization initiative. This is a unique opportunity to join a high-performing Agile delivery team focused on accelerating the development and delivery of cloud-based applications and mission-critical capabilities. This is a fully remote, short-term project (6-8 weeks) supporting newly formed software development teams. The ideal candidate is a servant leader who can drive execution, remove obstacles, facilitate Agile ceremonies, and help technical teams remain focused on delivering high-quality outcomes. Responsibilities - Lead Agile software development teams through all phases of delivery - Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement - Identify and remove impediments impacting team productivity - Partner with technical leadership and stakeholders to ensure successful execution of project objectives - Track team progress and promote continuous improvement - Foster collaboration across distributed teams in a remote environment - Guide teams toward achieving clearly defined deliverables within aggressive timelines Required Qualifications - 6+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Delivery Lead, Project Lead, or similar role - Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience - Active DoD security clearance - Proven experience supporting software development teams - Strong communication, facilitation, and leadership skills - Experience working in Agile environments using Scrum methodologies Preferred Qualifications - Previous hands-on software development experience - Experience supporting Java-based application development efforts - Exposure to AWS, DevOps, cloud technologies, or API development - Experience supporting Department of Defense or Federal Government programs Why Apply? - 100% remote opportunity - Support an important U.S. Air Force mission - Fast-moving project with immediate impact - Opportunity to help shape and lead newly formed Agile teams - Quick interview and onboarding process for qualified candidates
