TEKsystems is currently seeking a Project/Program Manager with strong Data Center and Network Operations project experience for a 1-year + contract located 5-days on-site per week in Seattle, Washington. -PMP -Data Center and Network Operations focused Project Management experience Description • Responsible for the coordination and completion of project/program. • Oversees all aspects of projects. • Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project/program. • Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project/program. • May require a bachelor's degree and 4-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area. • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. • Performs a variety of tasks. • Leads and directs the work of others. • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Skills Project management, network operations, data center operations, pmp certified project manager Top Skills Details Project management,network operations,data center operations Additional Skills & Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant IT Discipline. • 5+ years of project management experience. • 5+ years of Data Center and/or Network Deployment experience. • 5+ years’ experience in deploying/operations in Layer 2/Layer 3 networks including DWDM, load balancers, and content delivery networks. • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. • Experience in the management of complex technology infrastructure projects. • Experience with and deep understanding of multiple project management methodologies. • 5+ years’ experience in Physical fiber plant OSP/ISP. • Excellent multi-tasking and prioritizing skills. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
