Full Description

Job Title: Full Stack Web Developer (GSPS2 Program) Telecommute: No Clearance Type: Top Secret Work Shift: 1st Shift (9/80A) Travel: Yes, 10% of the time Description: Join a mission-critical team supporting the United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) Nuclear Deterrence Mission. This on-site role at STRATCOM Building 500 in Omaha, NE, involves full-stack Java web development within an Agile/DevSecOps environment. You’ll contribute to the development and maintenance of web-based Java mission systems for the Intelligence, Global Strike, and Nuclear Planning communities. Responsibilities include: Designing, developing, and testing full-stack Java-based web applications Participating in Agile ceremonies and DevSecOps practices Collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders Supporting CI/CD pipelines and conducting code reviews Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 5 years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 3 years of experience Proficiency in Java/JEE development, including design patterns and best practices Experience with GWT, Ext JS, JavaScript/JSP, Struts/Spring Familiarity with application servers such as Oracle, Tomcat, and Weblogic Strong UI development and testing skills using Eclipse and JUnit U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance Preferred Qualifications: Experience with JavaScript frameworks/libraries such as Ext JS, React, Angular, Vue Familiarity with RESTful web services, JSON/XML Proficiency with tools like Eclipse, Jenkins, GitLab, Gradle, GIT, JIRA, Selenium Understanding of Agile methodologies including SCRUM and XP, and Test-Driven Development Domain-specific experience with USSTRATCOM mission planning or strike applications Exposure to domain-specific models and algorithms such as ballistic missile flight models Experience developing software test plans and supporting continuous integration and testing Clearance Level: Top Secret Top Secret clearance required.
