Now Hiring: State Managing Attorney (Creditor’s Rights / Default Services) We are seeking an experienced State Managing Attorney to lead and oversee third-party creditor’s rights work, including foreclosure, bankruptcy, and litigation oversight, for an assigned state or functional area Client is looking for who lives in New York also with New York Bar Key Responsibilities Leadership & State / Functional Management • Provide strategic leadership, vision, and direction for legal performance within the assigned state or practice area • Establish and manage short- and long-term priorities and objectives for attorneys and legal staff • Ensure compliance with corporate, divisional, client, and regulatory standards • Implement compliance directives and escalate conflicts, reputational risks, and liability issues as required • Collaborate with Business Development to support client outreach and business growth initiatives • Communicate regularly with Operations, Executive Leadership, Attorneys, and internal stakeholders Qualifications • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school • Active bar admission in good standing in the required state(s) • 8+ years of legal practice in the required jurisdiction • 8+ years of creditor’s rights experience, including foreclosure, bankruptcy, and default servicing • 2+ years of experience managing attorneys • Strong knowledge of state and federal laws, court procedures, and regulatory compliance • Experience with default servicing platforms such as BKFS, Loansphere, Tempo, Vendorscape (preferred) • Case management software experience • Exceptional written, oral, and organizational skills • Ability to manage high-volume, complex caseloads • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Word
