Full Description

Title: Sales Manager – Engineering Services Full-time/Permanent employment Location: Novi, Michigan Key Responsibilities • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow engineering services revenue • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across target industries • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders • Lead the preparation of technical and commercial proposals, bids, and tenders • Collaborate with engineering teams to develop customized technical solutions • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients • Track sales pipeline, forecasts, and performance metrics • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client needs • Support account management and client retention strategies Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field • 5+ years of experience in sales or business development within engineering services • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets • Strong understanding of engineering consulting, EPC, or technical services • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills • Ability to read and interpret technical proposals and scopes of work • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Preferred Qualifications • Engineering degree or technical background strongly preferred • Experience selling services in industries such as oil & gas, construction, infrastructure, manufacturing, energy, or utilities • Familiarity with RFP/RFQ processes and contract negotiation • Existing client network within relevant engineering sectors Key Skills • Strategic sales planning • Technical solution selling • Client relationship management • Proposal and bid management • Contract negotiation • Market analysis Tekshapers is an equal opportunity employer and will consider all applications without regard to race, sex, age, color, religion, national origin, veteran status, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, or any characteristic protected by law.
