Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator/Assembler/Production Technician to join our fast-paced pharmaceutical and medical manufacturing facility. This immediate hiring opportunity is ideal for candidates with a strong background in manufacturing, machining, and assembly processes. The role involves operating complex machinery, performing precise assembly tasks, and ensuring quality standards are met throughout production. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining efficient production workflows while adhering to strict safety and quality protocols. Duties • Operate a variety of manufacturing equipment including CNC machines, stamping presses, press brake machines, CNC lathes, and milling machines. • Set up and program machinery using CAD, CAM programming, CNC programming, and other control systems such as Fanuc and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). • Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T specifications, and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly of components. • Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and quality standards. • Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of machinery to optimize performance. • Assemble medical components with attention to detail, ensuring compliance with industry standards for pharmaceuticals and medical devices. • Handle materials safely using forklifts and other materials handling equipment; manage inventory and packaging processes as needed. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following safety procedures related to fabrication, welding, tooling, and assembly line operations. • Support quality control initiatives by inspecting finished products for defects or deviations from specifications. • Collaborate with team members on fabrication projects involving welding, tooling setup, or fabrication of parts. Experience . • Familiarity with machining processes including stamping presses, press brake machines, welding, fabrication techniques, and materials handling is preferred. • Prior experience working within pharmaceutical or medical device manufacturing facilities is a plus. • Ability to operate forklifts safely; warehouse experience is advantageous. • Basic math skills necessary for precise measurements and calculations during setup and inspection processes.
