Job Title: Senior .NET Developer Company Overview: Tek Spikes is a leading technology solutions provider specializing in innovative software development and IT consulting services. Role Overview: As a Senior .NET Developer at Tek Spikes, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions for our clients, including government projects such as the State of Michigan. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient applications that meet business needs. What You'll Do: - You will design, develop, and maintain applications using .NET Framework 4.8, C#, and .NET Core 3.1 or higher (6.0 preferred). - You will implement front-end features using JQuery, JavaScript, and Telerik controls to enhance user experience. - You will collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and refine requirements. - You will write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices. - You will participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. - You will troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications to improve performance. - You will contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools. - You will mentor junior developers and support team knowledge sharing. What You Bring: - 5+ years of experience with .NET Framework 4.8, C#, and .NET Core 3.1 or higher (6.0 preferred). - Strong proficiency in front-end technologies including JQuery, JavaScript, and Telerik. - Experience with software design patterns, object-oriented programming, and agile methodologies. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication and collaboration abilities. - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working on government or public sector projects. - Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS. - Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. - Experience with database design and SQL Server.
