CPSS Operations Specialist -CPSS certification is required This is a remote position open to candidates residing in North Carolina Job Summary The Peer Support Specialist conducts outbound outreach to members referred by a Behavioral Health Case Manager, providing coaching, resources, and recovery-focused support. Key Responsibilities • Conduct outreach to high-risk or high-utilization members with complex behavioral health needs • Support intake assessments and person-centered care plan development • Provide ongoing recovery-oriented coaching, encouragement, and follow-up • Assist members in accessing community resources and services • Teach self-advocacy, empowerment, and resilience skills • Document all activities in the electronic medical record • Participate in interdisciplinary care team meetings • Appropriately share lived experience to promote engagement and hope Qualifications • High school diploma or GED • Certified Peer Support Specialist (NC required) • 1–2 years of related experience • Experience working with mental health and/or substance use disorders Consulting Solutions and its family of companies is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, pregnancy, age, national origin, disability status, genetic information, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
