Support and maintain enterprise network infrastructure including routing, switching, and security devices, with a focus on DoD requirements.
Active DoD Secret Clearance, experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, and Arista, knowledge of DevOps practices, and senior network engineering skills.
Remote Contract : Active DoD Secret Clearance ( DoD ) Lead Network Engineer ( CISCO, PALO ALTO, ARISTA, DevOps, Routing/Switching, Firewall ) Staff Aug- meaning "contract position" but Remote Must be US Citizen with an Active DoD Secret Clearance ( DoD = Department of Defense ) End Client: Defense Industry out of Florida Initially it will be a 120-160 hour ( one month trial period ) try out/test bucket of hours. It will then be extended to 6 months and continue on and on. My direct client has had employees there for the long haul (i.e. 4 years). It is one of their Top 5 Accounts ( they are a 500M company ). There could be a possibility of converting to a full timer with Seine Client due to long term considerations to keep their DoD Top Secret Clearance Active. This role has a lot of different swim lanes: • Basic Switching/Routing/Firewall, Security, and DevOps. • End client is primarily a CISCO and Palo Alto shop. • Any Arista experience would close the deal and is a big plus. • Again, Candidates must possess an currently Active Secret Clearance. Due to the fact that there is a trial period/test bucket of hours of 120-160 hours initially, it is preferred that we locate a candidate who is in between jobs or not currently working. We would hate for someone to submit their resignation and it doesn't work out in the initial first month's testing period. Rate to Seine Payment should be dependent upon experience - Monthly Invoicing to Seine with NET 30 payment Terms. The Good, flexible rate, and could go long term. The Bad, the candidate has to start out on a Testing Period Basis. The client would conduct two interviews in December ( The first would be with the HR/Technical Resource Manager, and the second with the Network Manager), and have the individual start around the first week of January with all interviewing and paperwork accomplished for the start. Seine has had a great relationship with the end client for the past 5+ years and we are the go to vendor for them.
