Maintain and manage engineering and manufacturing documentation, including generating BOMs, updating vendor folders, scanning and uploading QC documents, and supporting project documentation needs.
High school diploma required, 2-4 years document control experience preferred, advanced Microsoft Office skills, strong organizational and communication skills, and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
Job Title: Document Control Administrator Job ID: 81795 Location: Houston, Texas What you will be doing: • Maintain control of documentation related to engineering and manufacturing documentation • Generate Bill of Material (BOM) • Pull vendor documents from the BOM • Update vendor folder with revised documentation as needed • Receive documentation from Quality and prepare for upload • Scan and upload all QC documents in company Document Management System • Build Electronic Data books for ECC projects as assigned • Print, assemble and ship project Quality manuals as needed • Manage the QC mailbox and file incoming documents to project folder • Process incoming and outgoing documentation • Build relationships with Internal Stakeholders • Provide project support to PDC’s as needed • Prepare and manage documentation for off-site storage • Perform various administrative tasks • Duties also may include providing support to the receptionist • Train new hires as needed • Model and champion the company’s core values • Adhere to and promote the company’s HSE policy What you must have: • High School Diploma or GED • Two year associates degree in business or related field preferred • At least 2-4 years’ experience in document control support preferred • Exposure to the oil & gas industry would be preferred • Experience with multiple document management systems preferred • Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Experienced with working in fast-paced environments demanding strong organizational, technical, and interpersonal skills • Time management skills including multi-tasking competing priorities as needed • Demonstrated self-motivation and ethical behavior • Willing to continuously and proactively collaborate, share, and seek guidance through open dialogue • Having a positive attitude, a desire to learn and be challenged For more information about TEEMA and to consider other career opportunities, please visit our website at www.teemagroup.com
