Full Description

This SkillBridge position provides transitioning service members with hands-on training in talent acquisition and recruiting operations within a federal contracting environment. Participants will learn sourcing, candidate engagement, ATS management, and compliance fundamentals through structured mentorship, shadowing, and supervised recruiting activities at TechOp. Assist with candidate sourcing using LinkedIn, job boards, and Boolean searches Support resume reviews and candidate pre-screen coordination Maintain candidate pipelines and tracking in ATS/CRM systems Shadow recruiter and hiring manager interviews Help draft job postings and outreach messages Support recruiting documentation and compliance tasks Participate in weekly training and feedback sessions Active-duty U.S. service member approved or eligible for the DoD SkillBridge Program Ability to commit to a full-time SkillBridge internship (up to 180 days) Strong written and verbal communication skills Basic computer proficiency (email, spreadsheets, web-based tools) Professional demeanor and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment Background in recruiting including: Experience translating military qualifications to civilian roles, coordinating personnel actions, managing candidate or member records, or supporting onboarding and placement activities is highly valued.
