We have an exciting opportunity for the role of IT Specialist with a leading pharmaceutical organization located in Central Islip, Long Island, New York. The position focuses on IT infrastructure, Quality Systems, LIMS/MES support, cybersecurity, and CSV activities across manufacturing and quality environments. Role Overview You will be responsible for maintaining and supporting IT Infrastructure and Quality Systems, including: • IT Systems Administration, networking, and data center management • Support for Manufacturing, Packaging, Warehouse and Quality functions • Handling software upgrades, new systems implementation, and audit trails • LIMS, MES, QC Instruments, Serialization, and SAP user support • IT Security management, backup, DR/BCP, cloud technologies (AWS/Azure) • Coordination with internal stakeholders and external vendors/partners Key Responsibilities • Application & Quality Systems support (LIMS/MES/Serialization/QC systems) • CSV activities, 21 CFR Part 11, GxP compliance, and audit trail management • Infrastructure support: servers, networks, firewalls, switches, WiFi, data centers • Manage user accounts, permissions, system monitoring, and patch updates • Troubleshoot hardware/software issues and resolve user tickets • Project coordination, stakeholder management, and SLA delivery Must-Have Skills • Experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences IT environments • Strong exposure to LIMS/MES/SCADA/Serialization • CSV / Computer System Validation, data integrity, compliance knowledge • SAP support (Production, Warehouse, Quality modules) • Network security, Fortinet/FortiGate, VPNs, firewall administration • Cloud technologies: AWS / Azure • Backup, disaster recovery, and IT security best practices • PLC validation and Quality/Manufacturing system validation experience Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or related field • 4–6 years of relevant experience across technology platforms Job Type: Contract Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour Work Location: In person
