Technology Partners is representing a client in the healthcare industry. We are seeking a talented Data Warehouse and Integration Lead. Applicants must be local to St. Louis and be onsite 2-3 days per week. This role may start as contract before becoming full-time/permanent. We are unable to sponsor visa candidates at this time. General Description Responsibilities will include data architecture and integration support for insurance products and services on data analytics applications. Includes maintenance work as well as new project development. Projects involve new product launches, data application and data warehouse enhancements, interfaces with internal applications and external clients, document processing and financial control and accounting processes. Strict attention to security protocols is required. Responsibilities: • Designing Data Systems and Warehouses: Create scalable, secure data systems and data warehouses that integrate data from various sources. • Data Modeling: Develop data models to define the structure, attributes, and relationships of data elements. • Data Governance: Establish data policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security. • Data Integration: Ensure seamless integration of data from various sources into the data warehouse. • Performance Optimization: Conduct tests, troubleshoot, and integrate new elements to improve system and data warehouse performance. • Data Quality Management: Implement processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability. • Collaboration: Work closely with Business and IT stakeholders, including data engineers, IT teams, Actuaries, Reporting team, data scientists, and business analysts, to ensure robust data solutions. • Security and Compliance: Ensure data systems and warehouses comply with regulatory standards and organizational policies. • Aware, Propose and research of modern data development practices, frameworks and tools. • Maintain technical documentation of all analysis, system applications, and user interface requirements within areas of responsibility. • Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across all integrated data sources. • Support ingestion from internal systems, external sources, and cloud platforms. • Evaluate software products. Person should make recommendations to improve system applications. • Drive adoption of modern data architecture practices such as data lakes, lakehouses, and cloud analytics platforms. • Mentor and coach data developers/integration engineers/administrator. Education, Skills, Personal Attributes, and Experience Required • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Object-Oriented Programming, or Management Information Systems. Minimum of 10 years of data warehouse and data applications experience are required without an equivalent degree. • Candidate must possess 10 years proven development experience of multi-user, n-tier and enterprise data warehouse applications. • Data Modeling: Proficiency in creating complex data models; Experience in creating canonical models • Database Management: Expertise in managing and optimizing databases which involves troubleshooting, monitoring and applying fixes. • SQL and NoSQL: Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases; Expertise in writing and managing SQLs. • Experience with Enterprise Data Models for healthcare insurance, finance and any insurance industry. • Strong experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT frameworks, and data pipeline design. • ETL Processes and Tools: Experience with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes and tools like Azure Data Factory, Informatica, Talend and SSIS. • Data Governance: Understanding of data governance principles and practices. Understanding of Master Data Management concepts techniques and tools. • Data Ware House Platforms: Experience with Data Ware House platforms like Snowflake, Exadata, Data bricks, Azure Synapsis/Fabric; Experience in creating Data Ware Houses with modern medallion architecture principles • Automation: Expertise in creating Data Pipelines; Scripting in Unix/Powershell/SQL; Knowledge in AI Pipelines • Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud data platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Azure Cloud Experience is must for managing databases in Azure • Performance Optimization: Skills in optimizing data warehouse performance through indexing, partitioning, and query optimization. • Data Integration: Experience with data integration techniques and tools like informatica, Azure Data Factory, Apache Airflow, Change Data Capture and Schedulers. • Business Intelligence: Experience of BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker. • AI & ML: Knowledge and experience of creating AI Data Applications and managing Platforms such as Snowflake AI, Google Vertex, Azure AI Platforms • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Project Management: Strong project management skills to lead data initiatives. • Experience with SOC1 and SOC2 audits; Experience with PHI, PII and HIPAA data handling • Experience in Insurance Health care is plus.
