Title: Technical Project Manager Location: Nashville, TN Status: Full time/Exempt Reports to: Project Team Manager Job Summary The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing IT projects that support client needs and organizational goals. This role manages all phases of the project lifecycle, including defining project scope, developing schedules, allocating resources, and ensuring timely delivery within budget and quality standards. The Project Manager works closely with clients, technical teams, and stakeholders to communicate progress, manage risks, and resolve issues. Success in this position requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as a solid understanding of IT infrastructure, infrastructure installations, cabling projects, and managed services environments. Responsibilities • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and stakeholders. • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations. • Lead and motivate project teams, assigning tasks and monitoring progress. • Monitoring: Track project milestones, deliverables, and timelines to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery. • Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as needed. • Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, team members, and leadership. • Prepare and present regular project status reports and documentation. • Ensure adherence to organizational project management methodologies and best practices. • Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques. • Conduct project post-mortems to identify areas for improvement and share lessons learned. • The employer reserves the right to change or assign other duties to this position.
