Full Description

PART-TIME OFFICE ASSISTANT Location: Houston, TX | In Office Schedule: Monday – Friday, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM (20 hours/week) About Us: We’re a collaborative, high-performing team that values thoughtful execution and a positive office environment. From team breakfasts to happy hours, we believe culture and connection fuel great work. We're looking for someone who shares that belief — someone who sees the small things that make a big difference and takes pride in creating a workplace people enjoy coming to. About the Role: As our Part-Time Office Manager, you’ll be the engine behind a smooth, well-stocked, and energizing office environment. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being hands-on, loves organizing, and isn’t afraid to take initiative. We need more than just someone to "check the boxes" — we're looking for someone who asks, "What else can I do to make this better?" What You’ll Do: • Office Maintenance & Upkeep: Keep the office tidy, functional, and welcoming at all times — handling anything from coffee restocks to coordinating with building management • Supply Management: Maintain well-stocked office supplies (with our policy of abundance approach — generous budget, common-sense oversight) • Event Coordination: Plan and execute monthly team lunches, Friday breakfasts, happy hours, holiday parties, and other morale-boosting events • Vendor & Facility Coordination: Act as point of contact for building staff, cleaners, IT, and other vendors • General Administrative Support: Jump in where needed to support the team and keep day-to-day operations running smoothly Who You Are: • A proactive self-starter who takes ownership and follows through • Friendly, dependable, and comfortable being a go-to person for the office • Organized with great attention to detail and the ability to multitask • Someone with a “yes, I’ll figure it out” mindset — not a “that’s not my job” approach • Comfortable working in-person in a dynamic office environment Bonus Points If You Have: • Experience in office management, workplace coordination, or executive support • An eye for aesthetics and hospitality — you enjoy making spaces feel good • Familiarity with managing small budgets, ordering platforms, or working with vendors Perks: • Access to two onsite gyms • On-site covered parking • Monthly in-office chair massages • Regular team lunches, breakfasts, and happy hours • A genuinely fun and high-energy workplace Job Type: Part-time Pay: $20,000.00 - $24,000.00 per year Expected hours: 20 per week Work Location: In person
