The Materials Senior Analyst, Market Research will be the primary analyst with solid skills and knowledge acquired through work experience and education. They are further expected to possess a peer network that supplements their direct understanding. Their knowledge must cover the critical elements of the designated expertise area(s). The Senior Analyst will need to apply learned skills and knowledge - coupled with peer engagement, as applicable - to develop and produce Critical Materials Reports and product content and to complete related projects on schedule and of quality. As an experienced team member, the Senior Analyst will own projects and certain assigned tasks possessing some complexity. This position will work with other members of the team in range of related products and is able to pick up these projects and complete them with some, but not extensive, guidance and supervision. The incumbent is expected to have a solid knowledge of market research practices and can develop and improve current practices, as well as learn new research models coming in from various acquisitions. Responsibility 1 % of Time Own primary input / content production for Critical Materials Report product(s) within their field(s) of expertise, including an analyst expert assessment summarizing the significance of each related aspect. – Specifically Lithography materials, developers, EBRs and related solvents as it applies to FE and/or BE semiconductor manufacturing processes; knowledge of CMP slurry or pads a plus Serve as principal analyst for related research projects and assist in the development of supporting model generation that may be transferred to junior analysts as soon as the models/analysis have stabilized. Ensure their pace of content generation is sufficient to deliver current products on schedule. Coach and guide the team members, as appropriate, to grow in their practice. Interface, as relevant, with multiple stakeholders from acquired businesses. Enhance the current products with new ideas and deliverables. Gain a deep understanding for current and emerging application trends. This will include analysis at a system/sensor/ semiconductor /material level across the entire industry ecosystem, with focus on the supply chain. 60% Responsibility 2 % of Time Supporting network relationships to maintain current knowledge in your specialty area. 10% Responsibility 3 % of Time Support product management and customer engagement to answer questions for new or existing clients as needed. External engagement - Travel to conferences and customer meetings/events as appropriate to keep knowledge up to date and support sales as needed (up to 10%). 30% Qualifications and Attributes: Technical degree or equivalent 10 year work experience working for a company using or supplying - Lithography materials, developers, EBRs and related solvents as it applies to FE and/or BE semiconductor manufacturing processes; knowledge of CMP slurry or pads a plus Requires in-depth knowledge and experience, as well as an established peer network. Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services. Solves complex problems by taking a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information. Works independently, receives minimal guidance. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. This is typically career level 07 or above. Requires conceptual and practical expertise in own area(s) and general knowledge of related areas. Specifically: Lithography materials, developers, EBRs and related solvents as it applies to FE and/or BE semiconductor manufacturing processes; knowledge of CMP slurry or pads a plus Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate the company in the market. Acts as a resource for other team members; may lead projects with limited risks and resource requirements. Impacts a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams; works within broad guidelines and policies.
