About the position TechFlow Inc. is a leading provider of technology solutions and professional services to government and commercial clients. Our Platform Services Division delivers innovative, data-driven solutions that enable mission-critical operations for our customers. We are seeking an Operations and Metrics Analyst to support a large performance-based logistics government contract focused on the maintenance of industrial assets. This role serves as a critical bridge between field operations and customer reporting, ensuring accurate data flow from field service technicians through to final metrics delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, operational awareness, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment. Responsibilities • Execute monthly metrics calculations and submissions using the organization's Data Analytics platform. • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of performance metrics to the government customer by required deadlines. • Validate data integrity and completeness throughout the metrics calculation pipeline. • Generate and quality-check final metrics reports for customer delivery. • Monitor and support the end-to-end data flow from Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and other source systems to the Data Analytics platform. • Record and maintain initial asset records in the CMMS with accurate specifications and configurations. • Review and validate maintenance tickets updated by field service technicians for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with contract requirements. • Identify and resolve data quality issues, working with field technicians and operations teams to ensure proper documentation. • Verify that maintenance activities are properly categorized and coded in the CMMS. • Serve as a liaison between field service technicians, operations teams, and analytics stakeholders. • Provide feedback to field teams on data entry requirements and quality standards. • Collaborate with maintenance supervisors to ensure timely and accurate ticket closure. • Support training initiatives for proper CMMS data entry and maintenance documentation. • Document processes, procedures, and metrics methodologies. • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for data validation and metrics reporting. • Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and enhanced data quality. • Track and report on data quality metrics and trends. • Work on the 1st of each month (including weekends and holidays) to support the monthly metrics submission process. • Coordinate with team members and stakeholders to meet critical monthly deadlines. • Provide status updates and escalate issues as needed during the monthly close process. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field (or equivalent experience). • 2+ years of experience in data analysis, operations analysis, or metrics reporting. • Experience with CMMS or similar maintenance management systems. • Strong understanding of maintenance operations and work order processes. • Proficiency with data analytics platforms and business intelligence tools. • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, data manipulation). • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Effective written and verbal communication skills with ability to interact with field personnel and management. • Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision. • Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust Security Clearance. • US Citizenship is required. Nice-to-haves • Experience supporting government contracts, particularly performance-based logistics contracts. • Hands-on experience with maintenance operations, asset management, or field service operations. • Familiarity with maintenance metrics such as equipment availability, MTBF, MTTR, work order completion rates, or similar KPIs. • Experience with SQL, Python, or other data manipulation tools. • Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization platforms. • Experience reviewing and auditing maintenance documentation. • Understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance processes. • Project management or process improvement experience.
