Forklift Operator – Field Distribution (Onsite) Location: Arlington, TX 76018 Job Type: Contract (Full-Time, Onsite) Pay Rate: $17.45/hr Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM About the Role We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate to support distribution center operations in Arlington, TX. This role is fast-paced and hands-on, requiring candidates who are comfortable with standing, lifting, walking, and operating warehouse equipment throughout the workday. You will operate forklifts, process shipments using RF devices, unbox copiers, remove packaging, perform order picking, and help maintain inventory accuracy. Key Responsibilities • Operate powered and non-powered material handling equipment safely (Reach, Dock Stacker, Sit-down forklift). • Utilize RF scanners to process inbound and outbound orders accurately. • Perform shipping, receiving, stock movement, and order fulfillment tasks. • Unbox copiers, remove packaging material, palletize shipments, and prepare outbound freight. • Perform daily forklift inspection checklists and report maintenance needs. • Conduct cycle counts, quality checks, and verify accuracy of inventory transactions. • Load and unload LTL/TL trucks and vans while ensuring no damage during transit. • Inspect inbound freight for accuracy and damages; complete all required documentation. • Maintain compliance with C-TPAT procedures and warehouse security protocols. • Follow company 5S standards to maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace. • Provide cross-functional support to other departments when needed. • Meet productivity and quality standards as defined by management. • Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned. Requirements • 3–5 years of forklift operation experience (Reach, Dock Stacker, or Sit-down). • Previous forklift certification (current or former). • RF scanner experience required. • Minimum 2 years warehouse experience. • Strong math, reading comprehension, and writing skills. • Ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, and reach for extended periods. • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs (team lift for heavier items). • Ability to follow directions and complete tasks within deadlines. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety. • Team player with the ability to work well with others. • High school diploma or equivalent.
