Role Overview: The Manager I supports the delivery of high-quality CLASS® services through direct supervision, leadership development, and mentoring of contractors, and/or the affiliate community. This role focuses on daily quality assurance, consistent implementation, and clear communication to ensure reliable and mission-aligned service experiences for clients. The Manager I supports a variety of initiatives aimed at managing, monitoring, and providing ongoing support for CLASS Affiliate Programs. The Manager I partners heavily with internal teams such as Growth, Contracts, Engineering, and CS to align processes, resolve issues, and ensure consistent, compliant affiliate implementation. The Manager I coordinates logistics, monitors performance, and supports team development while maintaining fidelity to Teachstone’s standards and values. Role Description Provide ongoing support and guidance to training contractors and affiliate trainers Observe and evaluate contractors and affiliate trainers, as appropriate, to ensure high-quality delivery of Teachstone services Develop and implement cross-training plans across contractors and utilize Specialists expertise when possible to support Affiliate professional development Maintain internal and external selection, training, and development of a talented, diverse, and mission-driven contractor team Coordinate with Marketing, Impact, Revenue, Product, and Content teams to ensure optimal utilization of CLASS Specialists and contractors in services and programs Provide vision, leadership, and direction to contractors and affiliate trainers to ensure Teachstone standards are supported and achieved Effectively manage work procedures, processes, and related logistics that best support Teachstone standards and strategic directives Use data and training evaluations to drive continuous improvement of Teachstone services and affiliate program quality Maintain and build in-depth knowledge of Teachstone’s line of products and services Achieve and maintain reliability for all CLASS age levels assigned Assist in development and maintenance of annual training budget Define and monitor onboarding processes and procedures for contractors and affiliate trainers Recommend improvements to Teachstone services and affiliate program operations to enhance processes and quality Coordinate with other Professional Services Managers to assign internal request work to CLASS Specialists and contractors, as appropriate Embrace and demonstrate Teachstone’s Mission and Values both internally and externally with clients Work closely with Professional Services Managers and other department managers to support service delivery and affiliate program success Deliver Teachstone training programs and services up to two times per month Other duties as needed to support Teachstone as the organization matures Team Management: Support forecasting of hiring needs across the Professional Services team. Retain key talent and support ongoing development through coaching and feedback. Provide performance management and monitor fit between employees/contractors and their roles, offering actionable feedback to enhance performance. Define and assign performance metrics within the team to promote accountability and excellence. Coordinate with CLASS Specialists and contractors to promote their professional growth and high quality delivery of services. Affiliate Program Management: Support the management and implementation of affiliate trainer agreements, working cross-functionally to: Respond to Growth team questions related to affiliate capacity and readiness Partner with the Contracts team to ensure accurate, timely issuance of affiliate agreements Ensure affiliate trainers meet eligibility requirements and maintain appropriate permissions for delivering Teachstone trainings Monitor and support affiliate compliance with Teachstone standards, policies, and certification requirements Lead and coordinate affiliate communications, including but not limited to: Monthly affiliate newsletters Affiliate-focused webinars and learning sessions Serve as a key point of contact for affiliate trainers, supporting clarity, consistency, and engagement across the affiliate community You Bring Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field—or equivalent experience, with 3–5 years in a service delivery leadership role. Demonstrated proficiency using the CLASS® measure to observe and code classrooms and in leading CLASS® training programs. Prior experience delivering, leading, and evaluating training, data quality, and/or professional development programs. Exemplary organization, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Exceptional customer service and public relations skills. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, along with a strong detail orientation and a commitment to quality Exceptional time management, adept at prioritizing competing demands and adapting quickly to evolving expectations. Adept use of technology, including Microsoft Office Suite, Google applications, and video/multimedia presentation tools. Experience and comfort working in a remote, high-growth organization and developing policies and procedures that ensure success in a rapidly changing environment. Willingness to train and/or travel as needed. Preferred Qualifications CLASS Train-the-Trainer Certification Experience in contract administration Background in product or program management What We Offer: Fair, Competitive Pay: We ensure equal pay for equal work, using consistent salary bands based on market benchmarks, reviewed annually. Prior salaries, negotiation skills, or fear of conflict don’t influence your pay. Salary Range: $80,000 - $91,000 determined by your experience and skills.
