Full Description

Job Description: • Researching informational topics of interest to a high school-aged audience • Writing sentences, paragraphs, and longer passages for use in online activities • Crafting questions, answers, and explanations based on guidelines and samples • Adhering to conventions in The Chicago Manual of Style and an in-house style guide • Accepting and implementing feedback Requirements: • BS degree in physics or a related field • Experience writing or teaching K-12 science content preferred • Familiarity with content that is covered in high school physics courses • Exceptional writing skills, including a finely tuned sense of English grammar and usage • Strong critical-thinking, research, and problem-solving skills • The ability to be efficient and organized while working on multiple projects Benefits: • This is a remote, 1099 consulting role for six months with a possible extension.
