ABOUT THE ROLE You'll be at the heart of our project lifecycle, guiding projects from initial concept to final completion. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be expected to own your projects from start to finish—managing every detail, solving challenges as they arise, and keeping everything moving smoothly. Many of our team members manage multiple projects at once, so being organized, proactive, and adaptable is key. Project Planning & Management • Analyze project plans and specs with meticulous attention to detail • Develop comprehensive schedules and budgets that drive efficiency • Lead subcontractor bidding, negotiation, and performance management • Review subcontractor invoices and billing through Procore to ensure accuracy and proper documentation • Oversee material procurement and ensure timely delivery • Champion quality, timeline adherence, and budget control during construction • Foster strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and stakeholders • Prepare and submit project reports, pay applications, and change orders Procore and Project Management Tools • Use Procore for submittals, RFIs, daily logs, meeting minutes, drawing management, project schedules, subcontractor billing, and overall project documentation • Manage bidding invitations, bid leveling, and communication with subcontractors through Procore • Maintain accurate and organized project records using Procore workflows and tools Estimating • Utilize your Planswift expertise for accurate quantity takeoffs • Craft competitive bids that win projects • Analyze costs and uncover value engineering opportunities Beyond the Basics • Conduct on-site inspections to verify progress and quality • Resolve disputes and challenges with a solutions-oriented approach • Prioritize safety compliance and adherence to company policies IDEAL CANDIDATE • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (preferred) • 5+ years of experience in commercial construction project management and/or estimating • Demonstrated experience managing ground-up commercial real estate construction projects • Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Procore, Planswift, Bluebeam, or On-Screen Take-Off • Strong organizational skills and the ability to stay on top of details without losing sight of the bigger picture • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities • Proven ability to take ownership, solve problems, and see projects through from beginning to end READY TO BUILD THE FUTURE OF HOUSTON?
