Line of Business: Enterprise Enabling Functions Job Description: The Research & Process Optimization Team (RPO) sits under the Commercial Loan Operations and Servicing (CLOS), on the Production Enablement & Control Team (PEC). PEC seeks to enable the CLOS organization to do its best work. We accomplish this by minimizing the distraction of non-production work on production resources, while partnering to improve how production work gets done. RPO is involved in CLOS internal, as well as larger Bank initiatives that would benefit from the team's knowledge of CLOS data, systems, and processes. We utilize data from TD Data Warehouses to produce reporting, and to support research efforts. We provide Audit request support and performs various SOX Controls on a periodic basis. We meet directly with teams to identify, develop, and implement process simplification solutions to reduce process time, work complexity, and manual effort. This role is relied upon by CLOS colleagues and other business partners (audit, etc) as a system, process and data SME. The person in this role supports CLOS process improvement and process simplification by building reports and creating/supporting data delivery processes for ongoing programs (ex. Fed Pledge team data file and Loan Quality Macro process). This role regularly supports audit/sox requests by providing data sets and/or test cases pulled from our data marts. Depth & Scope: Works independently but receives assistance/coaching from more senior levels Coaches other team members, as appropriate, within area of expertise Identifies, develops, and maintains key linkages with business partners including the retail product management, retail distribution, commercial banking, support services and North American business partners such as TD Wealth Management, TD Ameritrade and TD Insurance Helps senior management by giving insightful and pro-active reporting and analysis and various corporate and business line initiatives Works with line of business team members/ resource Resolves issues and problems by conferring with staff, management, other internal departments, outside contacts as necessary Works cross-functionally as required to drive strategic initiatives and improve processes Adds financial value to company by analyzing company data to identify and recommend initiatives that positively and materially impact the financial results of the company Education & Experience: Bachelors degree or progressive work experience in addition to experience below 3+ Years of related experience Excellent communication skills Excellent problem-solving and decision making skills Exceptional active listening skills Proven ability to meet deadlines while simultaneously working on multiple projects Preferred Qualifications: Strong knowledge of various data sources, tools and technologies used in preparing summaries and reports Analytical and problem-solving skills are required to interpret data and draw conclusions Skill in using analytical software tools, data analysis methods and reporting techniques (Access, SQL, Excel, VBA, Macros) *** Power Platform experience required (Power Apps, Power BI) Familiarity with basic HTML, CSS and/or JavaScript WalkMe builder experience a plus Understanding of Commercial Bank Operations and Servicing – specific familiarity with TD Bank tools, systems (ACBS, nCino), policies, and procedures is preferred. If not existing, ability to quickly learn and apply changing practices is critical.
