Job description TCI Supply is hiring a Sales Operations Coordinator to help the Account Managers with the day-to-day procurement of industrial controls at its office in suburban Philadelphia. The company is growing rapidly and is looking for a motivated self-starter to help fulfill the needs of our large global customer base. There will be a lot of following up on requests and orders, emailing, mixed in with some occasional “detective work” to best support our customers. Career progression is a path here for individuals who excel in this role and want it. About the Position Role and Responsibilities: -Supporting our Account Managers to ensure on-time and accurate parts supply, and proactively following up on open requests, pending quotes, vendor portals, and active orders -Utilize TCI's industry knowledge to supply our current customer base. Learn our sector of the market and excel within it. You will be taught on the job with colleagues who are fun and hard working. -Handle a variety of customer inquiries, including, but not limited to: quoting price and delivery on engineering parts, ordering, tracking shipments, data entry, billing, opening boxes, and light customer service. -Coordinate procurement by communicating with manufacturers and suppliers to confirm pricing, availability, and delivery timelines Qualities: -Motivated Professional who can learn our niche industry. Suggested Experience (any of these is a Bonus) - Second Language (Spanish a plus) - Familiarity with QuickBooks, HubSpot, or similar CRM software - Outbound Sales - Strong Product Knowledge - A big plus if you know about industrial controllers, valves, and sensors. - Marketing (email campaigns, print mailers, design) - Website management / WordPress / SEO What Success Looks Like -You can produce accurate quotes quickly with minimal oversight -You follow up reliably and keep requests from going stale -You communicate clearly with customers and suppliers and document key details -You catch errors before they become problems (wrong part, wrong ship-to, pricing mismatches, lead time surprises) About the Company TCI Supply is a global leader in industrial parts supply, proudly based in Philadelphia, PA.
