Job purpose The Regional Sales Manager Foodservice is responsible for managing and increasing sales in assigned regional territory with distributors and end-users in the foodservice, hospitality, and manufacturing channels. They will manage the business at both distributor and end-user levels in collaboration both through direct interaction with accounts and with broker sales and distributor sales teams. This job requires generating sales growth both in existing and new accounts. Duties and responsibilities · Increase gross and net sales to exceed targets year-over-year · Track and report trade spending to ensure budget compliance · Execute sales plan for success in assigned accounts and territory · Create annual, quarterly, monthly promotion plans for both distributor and end-users as appropriate · Manage distributor performance and conduct quarterly meetings around goal attainment and specific target progress · Present TCHO lines to buyers · Attend trade shows as assigned · Manage trade spend · Maintain updated account pipeline including status and estimated revenue opportunity · Update and actively use assigned customer relationship management tools Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience · Minimum 5 years’ experience calling-on foodservice, hospitality and manufacturing accounts including pastry chefs, restaurants, and other operations using chocolate · Ability to execute on a clear sales plan · Experience with confection and/or specialty ingredient sales required · Must be a highly driven performer who can develop new business in the category · Able to drive growth in both existing customer base and new accounts · Highly motivated self-starter · Strong reporting skills and attention to detail · Excellent writing, reading and communication skills · Must be able to travel at least 50% · Current relationships with and a comprehensive understanding of the supply chain strongly preferred · Strong technical knowledge and understanding of chocolate applications Working conditions This may be either TCHO office or home office-based. Must be located within 60 minutes of major airport Physical requirements Must be able to fly any distance on commercial airlines, traverse long distances, and transport materials and set-up trade shows. May require work over weekends and extended hours as workload requires at any given time salary range - $120,000 to $150,000
