This position is an important contributor to the engineering team and is responsible for building high-performance data processing solutions. The role involves solving engineering challenges, collaborating with team members, and contributing to creative solutions. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY PERFORMANCE OUTCOMES Technical Mastery: Design, develop, and maintain microservices following best practices, ensuring optimal performance and integration with other system components. Create, optimize, and manage data structures and pipelines, working with data models and ensuring smooth data flow within the system. Integrate external services and APIs as required to enhance functionality and interoperability. Stay up to date with emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry trends, applying new tools and methodologies to the development process. Problem Solving and Innovation: Collaborate closely with data analysts, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure engineering solutions are aligned with the business needs. Implement and maintain robust security protocols, ensuring data privacy and compliance with relevant regulations. Follow best practices in coding, design, and development methodologies to maintain quality and consistency in your work. Independence and Collaboration: Demonstrate the ability to independently resolve technical challenges, while proactively seeking guidance on more complex tasks to ensure efficient and effective solutions. Participate in code reviews and contribute to team discussions to maintain code quality, maintainability, and scalability. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or related field 2+ years of experience designing, building, and maintaining backend systems, with exposure to microservices architecture Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and scalability Proficiency with data storage solutions (SQL and/or NoSQL databases) Proficient in programming languages such as C#, Java, or Scala, with experience working on cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience with .NET is preferred Detail-oriented, with a focus on code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders #LI-DNI ***The US base salary range for this full-time position is: $102,021.00 - $153,032.00 The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location.
