Reports to: FSQA Manager Exempt/Non-Exempt Status: Non-Exempt Job Title Description: QA Process Department: Quality Assurance Division: Taylor Farms Northwest Summary of Responsibilities: We are seeking a meticulous Data Entry QA professional to monitor and document net weight checks in our production lines. This role ensures products meet specified weight requirements, maintaining both quality and regulatory compliance. The position involves working in both hot cooking areas and cold storage/chilling areas. Essential Functions: · Must be able to work regular, mandatory overtime and be flexible with work schedule · Measure and verify the net weight of food products on the production line according to SOPs · Record weight data accurately into digital systems and maintain thorough documentation · Report any discrepancies or deviations from weight standards to supervisors immediately · Support routine quality assurance checks to ensure compliance with food safety and production standards · Collaborate with production and QA teams to maintain consistent product quality · Assist in troubleshooting and corrective actions when weight discrepancies occur · Responsible for supporting food safety and quality in the plant • Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards • Maintain a clean line and safe work area • Wear required PPE for the position (gown, hair net etc). · Consistently report to work on time, as scheduled · Must be able to lift a minimum of 25lbs. frequently · Must be able to stand and walk 100% of the time Qualifications: · High school diploma or equivalent. · Ability to read/write/speak English fluently. · Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. · Comfortable using digital scales and entering data into spreadsheets or QA systems. · Ability to work in hot kitchen environments and cold storage areas. · Physically able to stand for long periods and handle packages/products safely. · Basic understanding of food safety practices (HACCP) is a plus. Working Conditions: · Exposure to high temperatures in cooking areas and low temperatures in chilling/freezing areas. · Fast-paced production environment with repetitive tasks. · Physically active role requiring lifting and movement of products. Physical Requirements: This position is in a food production environment in a refrigerated, noisy environment. This is a combination of physical and sedentary role due to duties managed on the floor and from an office.
