The Tax Analyst I is responsible for developing high-quality and accurate tax content and integrating the information into the TaxAct software. This includes interpreting tax laws, creating calculations for tax forms, and writing Q&A questions to assist users in completing their tax returns.
Candidates should have an Associate or Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or equivalent experience. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential.

Position Summary: The Tax Analyst I is responsible for developing high-quality and accurate tax content and integrating the information into the TaxAct software. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Major responsibilities of the position are listed below. To perform the job successfully, the individual must be able to execute each essential duty satisfactorily. Interpret Federal and state tax laws and implement the calculations and tax law changes into the tax software. Create calculations for the tax forms. Design the layout of the forms. Write Q&A questions to help users accurately complete their tax returns. Write and review test case scenarios. Work closely with Scrum Team to optimize product for the consumers. Other job duties as defined. Education & Experience: Associate or Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems or equivalent experience. Experience using Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
