QUALIFICATIONS: • 8+ years of software engineering experience, including significant experience building, shipping, and operating production mobile applications. • Proven ownership of complex mobile applications or platform capabilities across iOS and Android. • Experience driving initiatives from concept through production with minimal direction. • Experience supporting the full mobile lifecycle, including releases, observability, crash analysis, performance optimization, and platform upgrades. • Demonstrated use of AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering effectiveness. • Experience modernizing applications while maintaining production stability. Technical Expertise • Significant production experience with Flutter and Dart. • Strong understanding of iOS and Android platform capabilities, including authentication, biometrics, secure storage, notifications, deep linking, permissions, and device APIs. • Experience integrating mobile applications with web applications, WebViews, APIs, backend services, identity providers, and third-party platforms. • Strong hands-on coding ability and mobile architecture expertise. • Experience reviewing and validating AI-generated code and technical solutions. • Ability to make pragmatic decisions balancing customer experience, velocity, risk, and maintainability. Mindset & Communication • Ownership mindset with a focus on outcomes. • Ability to operate independently and navigate ambiguity. • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. • Pragmatic, customer-focused technical judgment. • Leadership through expertise, influence, accountability, and delivery. Bonus Points • Experience with WebView-based mobile applications. • Experience with authentication, identity, biometrics, and secure session management. • Experience in regulated industries such as tax, fintech, healthcare, or financial services. • Experience with analytics, experimentation, observability, crash reporting, and performance monitoring. • Experience building reusable mobile tooling or platform capabilities.
