Location: Remote (West Coast preferred due to hours, but not required) Hours: Core availability 9:00am–5:00pm Pacific Standard Time Reports to: Director of Sales Compensation: $60,000 base + 8% commission on every sale made On-Target Earnings: $120,000–$170,000+ (uncapped) Role Overview Taxstra is a fast-growing CPA firm serving physicians, real estate investors, and business owners nationwide. We are hiring a high-energy Account Executive to close inbound opportunities and finding outbound opportunities and confidently sell the value of proactive tax planning, tax preparation, monthly accounting and proper entity structuring. This role is for someone who: • Brings intensity and confidence to every call • Can sell outcomes, not line items • Is comfortable talking money with high-income clients • Thrives in a performance-driven environment You are not expected to be a tax technician, but we will teach you many of the tax strategies we use so you can discuss them at a high level and let clients know the benefits of using those strategies. You are expected to win trust, create urgency, and close. What You’ll Do: Close Revenue • Run discovery and strategy calls with qualified inbound prospects • Sell the benefits of tax savings, not just tax preparation • Confidently explain pricing and scope • Close engagements across individuals, businesses, and real estate investors Lead with Confidence • Command conversations with high-income professionals • Ask direct questions about income, entities, properties, and goals • Handle objections without hesitation or defensiveness • Disqualify weak or misaligned prospects quickly Execute Cleanly • Follow proven sales frameworks and pricing guidance • Maintain accurate CRM notes and deal status • Coordinate clean handoffs after close • Collaborate with the Director of Sales on strategy when needed Tech & AI Comfort • Comfortable using modern AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to: • Prepare for calls • Improve messaging and follow-ups • Summarize scenarios and articulate client value clearly • Views AI as a productivity multiplier, not a replacement for judgment or confidence • Willing to learn and adapt as tools evolve Who This Role Is For You are: • A closer, not an order-taker • High-energy, persuasive, and comfortable being direct • Motivated by commission and winning • Confident talking to physicians, investors, and business owners about finances and taxes You likely have (preferences, but not requirements): • 2–5+ years in consultative or high-ticket sales • Experience selling outcomes (savings, ROI, growth, risk reduction) • A strong presence on calls and natural authority • Remote-work discipline and strong calendar control Tax knowledge is a plus—but not required. We will train you on what you need to know. Compensation Structure • Base salary: $60,000 • Commission: 8% on all personally closed deals • Uncapped upside • Clear path to Senior Account Executive as volume and leadership grow Top performers will earn significantly more than base (current account rep closes between 5-10 deals per week). What Success Looks Like 30–60 Days • Fully ramped on services and pricing • Running confident, controlled calls • Closing deals independently 90+ Days • Consistent closings during West Coast hours • Strong pricing discipline • Minimal rework or scope corrections Why This Role Exists We are expanding nationally and have high demand from incoming leads and need: • Faster response times • More closed revenue • Sales professionals who sell confidence and clarity, not confusion This role is built for someone who wants money, momentum, and upward mobility.
