TaxCloud is on a mission to simplify sales tax for ecommerce and SaaS businesses, and they are seeking a Head of Product Marketing to own and execute their product marketing vision. In this senior-level role, the candidate will partner with various teams to shape the Go To Market strategy, craft positioning, and drive product launches while leveraging AI tools to enhance marketing efforts. Responsibilities • Own and evolve our product and company positioning to clearly articulate TaxCloud’s value in a competitive market. • Build go-to-market strategies for new features and product releases—crafting messaging, coordinating cross-functionally, and driving launch execution. • Equip the sales team with compelling collateral, battlecards, talk tracks, and training to win deals and reduce friction in the sales cycle. • Learn the sales tax market and competitive landscape—informing product, sales, and marketing strategies. • Stay ahead of trends and regulatory changes in the sales tax space to inform content strategy and positioning. • Drive qualitative and quantitative research to understand customer needs, pain points, and adoption behavior. • Partner with content and demand gen to create top- and mid-funnel materials that align with buyer personas and the customer journey. • Use tools like ChatGPT and other AI platforms to accelerate content generation, streamline workflows, uncover insights, and test messaging at scale. Skills • 5–10 years of experience in product marketing, ideally in SaaS, B2B, or fintech environments. • Proven success owning GTM strategy, messaging, positioning, and sales enablement in a small or startup team. • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset—you’re comfortable being the only product marketer and building from scratch. • Strong interest in AI and integrate AI tools into your workflow for research, content creation, and strategy execution. • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills • Experience working cross-functionally with product, sales, customer success, and leadership. • Strong analytical skills with a bias toward action and results. • Passion for continuous learning, owning your craft, and eventually growing a team.
