Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Seasonal Receptionist / Administrative Assistant to join our front desk team! This role is perfect for a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys providing exceptional customer service, and has a passion for client satisfaction. As the first point of contact for visitors and callers, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere while efficiently managing administrative tasks. This seasonal position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in office operations, communication, and organization while supporting our team during busy periods. Responsibilities • Greet visitors warmly, assist with check-in procedures, and direct them appropriately • Manage multi-line phone systems, answer inquiries promptly, and route calls accurately • Support calendar management and appointment scheduling • Perform clerical duties such as proofreading documents, data entry, and maintaining accurate records • Support office management tasks including filing, photocopying, and preparing materials for meetings • Ensure smooth daily operations at the front desk with strong phone etiquette and organizational skills Qualifications • Previous receptionist or administrative experience preferred; tax preparation and/or tax office experience is a plus • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace • Excellent phone etiquette • Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a busy environment • Experience with clerical tasks such as proofreading, data entry, filing, and calendar management • Knowledge of tax software like Drake is advantageous • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor • Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods If you’re motivated by helping others, organizing efficiently, and creating positive first impressions every day — we want to hear from you!
