Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated team member to welcome, assist, and exceed guest service expectations. This role focuses on guest interaction, problem-solving, and promoting both physical and digital services to enhance the shopping experience. You will be responsible for ensuring a seamless and effortless checkout, guest service, and order fulfillment experience. Skills: • Sound communication abilities are key in fostering engagement and interaction with visitors • The ability to think critically and choose the best course of action contributes to elevating guest happiness • Flexibility in responding to different guest interactions and requirements • Skill in promoting and vending store benefits and facilities Responsibilities: • Provide outstanding customer service by adhering to established service criteria • Engage with visitors in a friendly and authentic fashion • Swiftly evaluate what guests require and adapt your approach accordingly • Help guests by providing information about products and problem-solving options • Ensure that scanning, bagging, and payment transactions are completed with accuracy and efficiency • Make sure your work area remains organized and free of clutter • Notify customers about special deals, fresh launches, and upcoming store events • Inspire clients to join loyalty schemes and to evaluate the option of acquiring store credit cards • Offer assistance to consumers in utilizing digital tools efficiently, such as the store app and online services • Process returns following store guidelines to guarantee customer satisfaction • Enhance the effectiveness of handling order pickups, drive-up arrangements, and gift registry transactions • Help address and calm guest issues and reduce tensions in a manner that aligns with store regulations • Confirm that products subject to regulation are in alignment with federal, state, and local statutes • Support overall store activities as necessary based on the business's needs Additional Skills: • The ability to multitask effectively while also honing in on particulars is a sought-after skill in the workplace • Seeking comfort in enlightening guests about various offerings • Rapid adjustment to changing technology and digital innovations • Demonstrating the capability to work self-sufficiently and in conjunction with a team Job Requirements: • Proficiently handling cash transactions and accurately operating the register • Capacity to engage in outdoor work activities under fluctuating weather conditions • Lifting and relocating products weighing up to 15 lbs on a frequent basis, with sporadic tasks that require lifting up to 40 lbs • Flexibility in scheduling, covering evenings, weekends, and holidays About Target Joining us means having a significant impact on our global logistics and inventory strategies.
