This role focuses on guest interaction, problem-solving, and promoting both physical and digital services to enhance the shopping experience. You will be responsible for ensuring a seamless and effortless checkout, guest service, and order fulfillment experience. Skills: • Strong communication capabilities play a vital role in actively involving and connecting with patrons • A crucial aspect of boosting guest satisfaction is the skill of effectively addressing issues and making informed decisions • Versatility in accommodating various guest preferences and demands • Proficiency in advocating for and selling store benefits and amenities Responsibilities: • Guarantee exceptional guest satisfaction by following prescribed service standards • Interact with visitors in a pleasant and sincere manner • Promptly assess guest needs and adjust your methods accordingly • Support visitors by imparting knowledge about merchandise and providing assistance in resolving issues • Validate the precision and speed of scanning, bagging, and payment processing methods • Strive to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in your workspace • Inform visitors about promotions, latest products, and store activities • Inspire patrons to enroll in loyalty schemes and to potentially acquire store credit cards • Facilitate customers in navigating and employing digital resources, including the store's application and online services • Execute returns in accordance with store regulations to meet customer expectations • Streamline the operations involved in order pick-up, drive-through services, and gift registry transactions • Handle guest concerns effectively and peacefully, ensuring adherence to store policies • Ensure that regulated items meet the legal standards set by federal, state, and local authorities • Aid in the smooth functioning of the store operations according to the demands of the business Additional Skills: • Being able to handle numerous tasks at once while also giving careful consideration to details is a key competency • Providing reassurance by educating guests about various goods and amenities • Quick adoption of emerging technology and digital solutions • Competency in balancing independent work responsibilities with collaborative team tasks Job Requirements: • Skillful management of cash transactions and accurate operation of the register • Skill in working in outdoor settings regardless of the weather conditions • Regularly engaging in the lifting and transport of merchandise weighing up to 15 lbs, with periodic lifting activities involving weights of up to 40 lbs • Available for flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays About Target Becoming a part of our team involves playing a key role in our global logistics and inventory management procedures.
